NASSCOM Assessment of Competence-Technology (NAC Tech)
NASSCOM with a collective effort from key IT companies—Accenture, Cognizant, HCL, IBM, Infosys, Microsoft, TCS, and Wipro—has developed the Foundation Skills in IT (FSIT) program with a view to enhance the skills that students need, to become industry ready. The Foundation Skills in IT (FSIT) training program is aimed to empower students with IT related skills at the entry level. Key Features of NAC-Tech
  • Eligibility for NAC-Tech
    -  All 2012 and 2013 candidate of BE, B.Tech, MCA, MSc-IT are eligible to take the test
    -  Preferred Scores of candidates: 60% aggregate in graduation, 12th standard & 10th standard
  • NAC-Tech Test Fee 
    The price for NAC-Tech test per candidate is as follows:
  • NAC-Tech Part A - Rs 158
  • NAC-Tech Part A + B  - Rs237
  • Apart from this, Rs. 70 / Rs. 60 as center fee (for infrastructure at retail center or college respectively) can be chargeable, if applicable.

NAC-Tech Test Matrix

Part A (this must be attempted by all candidates) 
 
Verbal Ability - To assess candidate's verbal building blocks by evaluating skills like grammar, spellings, punctuations and vocabulary. To assess English usage by evaluating skills like structure, arguments and verbal reasoning.
Duration - 20 Minutes
 
Reading Comprehension - To assess candidate's comprehension of English passages and ability to make inferences from a large amount of information. Be able to connect the dots and make an assessment based on information and ideas spread across the passage.
Duration - 10 Minutes
 
Analytical Reasoning - To assess problem solving skills through questions on quantitative reasoning. To assess candidate's logical skills by evaluating skills like Deduction, Induction and Visualization.
Duration - 25 minutes 
 
Attention to Detail  - To assess candidates eye for detail.
Duration - 5 Minutes
 
Online total duration is 60 minutes. 
 
Part B - Optional (can be attempted if the student so desires) 

(The candidate can choose any one of the domains) 
Aim - To assess candidate's technical skills in the core area of education.
Duration - 30 minutes

  1. Who in India (specially kolkata) is providing training to students who wish to appear for the NacTech Test. What will be the course content, duration and fees? Need all these info urgently please.

    1. No training is provided for NASSCOM NAC Test.
      Students should prepare on their own.

      The NAC Test consists of their syllabus from 1st to their final semesters for technical part. For aptitude part, there is no such course content.

      A person faces an interview without knowing the content on which the questions are asked.In the same way NAC Test is also conducted.
