NITAT Question paper - Type and question paper pattern

My NITAT Examination :

Today I have attended NITAT Examination at LOYOLA College, Chennai.

Im going to share you how was it and what type of questions were asked in it.

NITAT Exam has 6 Sections of questions
Section A - 15 marks (15*1=15)
Section B - 20 Marks (10*2=20)
Section C - 15 Marks (15*1=15)
Section D - 10 Marks (10*1=10)
Section E - 10 Marks (10*1=10)
Section F - 10 Marks (10*1=10)

Lets have a look at the sections and its questions:

SECTION - A
  • This section deals with Verbal ability
  • Each question carries 1 mark
  • This has 5 questions based on given paragraph
  • One question checking the sentence formations
  • One for meanings, One for opposites
  • Two questions on choosing best substitutions for a given blanks.
SECTION B
  • This section deals with numerical ability.
  • Each right answers carries 2 marks.
  • This section covers all mathematical questions on the following topics
  1. Problems on ages
  2. profit and loss
  3. ratio and proportions
  4. Time and work
  5. Time and distance
  6. stram problem
  7. Compound Interest
  8. Volume and surface area
  9. Clocks
  10. Angle finding
  11. Percentage
  12. Statistical charts based calculations
SECTION C
  • This section deals with logical reasoning.
  • Each question carries 1 Mark.
  • The following type of questions are asked.
  1. Figures that logically completes the following figures
  2. Complete the mathematical series
  3. Statements and its conclusions
  4. Diagrammatic representation of statements
SECTION D
  • This section deals with problem solving.
  • Each question carries 1 Mark.
  • The following type of questions are asked.
  1. Coding of words
  2. Find directions and distance after walking
  3. Heridity based sums
  4. Time and distance based sums
SECTION E 
  • This section deals with Team work.
  • Each question carries 1 Mark.
  • A paragraph will be given and a suitable order of conclusion must be chosen.
SECTION F
  • This section deals with Result orientation.
  • Each question carries 1 Mark.
  • A paragraph will be given and a suitable order of conclusion must be chosen.
